AAFDF President Ronny Ochoro will attend the African Disc Golf Summit 2025. The inaugural event, set to take place from November 13th to 16th, is hosted by the Paul McBeth Foundation (PMF), the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), and other international partners in Kampala, Uganda. The Summit, themed around strategic collaboration and grassroots development, aims to accelerate the growth of disc golf across Africa through hands-on training, shared experience, and global partnership.
Over its four days, the Summit will convene disc golf leaders, organizers, and emerging voices from across the continent. Sessions will include practical workshops on course design, teaching, and tournament organization, alongside a PDGA-sanctioned tournament to showcase competitive spirit and community engagement. The gathering will also offer opportunities for continental dialogue on sport development, inclusion, and sustainability.
Ronny Ochoro, President of the All Africa Flying Disc Federation (AAFDF), will represent African disc sports leadership at the Summit, joining a cohort of global and regional stakeholders committed to advancing disc golf in Africa. His participation reflects AAFDF’s dedication to empowering local organizers, fostering international collaboration, and shaping a vibrant future for flying disc sports on the continent.
The African Disc Golf Summit 2025 marks a milestone in the sport’s expansion and will lay important groundwork for future continental events and partnerships. Departure is scheduled after the closing ceremony on Sunday, November 16th
